Miss Shell first got the singing 'bug' back in high school in England where she would hide up the back and sing the harmony to all the hymns in assembly. Since moving to Australia at the age of 16, she has starred at many informal karaoke evenings in Perth, and in August 2001 took part in Pop Idol in the UK.

Her music career started back in 1998, when she moved to London for work, and started writing songs to pass the time in the cold dark English winter evenings. A workmate recognised her talent and potential and pointed her in the right direction.

Whilst looking for formal singing tuition, she came across an ad that her producer had placed offering studio techniques. They made a formidable team that produced amazing results. Miss Shell has been the driving force behind her career, and in May 2000 was invited to perform as part of a showcase of original songwriters in London.

With six tracks already produced, and another two written and ready to be recorded, she is now looking for a record deal to take her career that step further.

 Now back in Perth, Miss Shell continues to work as a computer programmer while pursuing her dream as a recording artist. Geek by day and Sexy Songstress by night...
